In This Day In History on August 30, 2010 at 9:40 pm

Looking to buy a Arthur Beck Company (aka Art Beck) metal potholder. The top of the potholder has “ART BECK” in large letters with the word PRODUCTS in smaller letters below. The other side of the potholder had the word EVANS on it. It is a two piece device held together with a metal gromit. The composition is a lightweight metal that could be aluminum. It was manufactured in Chicago during the 1940’s or 1950’s.
